Rooted Student Ministry

Welcome!  Our goal is to connect students to God through faith in Jesus. We plan to accomplish this goal with a variety of outreach events, worship services and discipleship classes. We have a TON of fun in our ministry! We would love you to come jump in and join us as we follow Jesus together!   Here are descriptions of our classes and major events.

Sunday Morning

Grow Groups

Every Sunday Morning, in the youth room, at 9:45am our students study the Bible either through large group or small group study.  These classes exist to help students grow as disciples of Jesus.  There's free breakfast too!

Wednesday Nights

Everyone can use a little help halfway through the week. Come refuel your spiritual tank and recharge your spiritual batteries with us on Wednesday nights starting at 6PM! We eat a great meal, play fun games, sing songs of worship, and hear a message from God's Word.  You don't want to miss Wednesday nights! This is the night with the biggest crowd and a great time to come for your first visit. Wednesday nights exist to evangelize our community, disciple believers, give worship and honor to God, provide a time of fellowship, and to meet the needs of the broken-hearted.

Feed the Homeless

Every third Saturday of the month a team of adults and students go to Unity Park in Fort Worth and help Feed By Grace Ministries feed around 300 people. We bring our church cook trailer and work together to help those who are in need. We meet at 10am in the church's back parking lot.

Disciple Now

Every year near the end of January or beginning of February we partner with other churches in our community to put on a Community-Wide Disciple Now. What is Disciple Now? A fun filled weekend weekend with tons of games, and more importantly, tons of worship, Bible teaching, and small group discussions. It starts Friday night and ends Sunday morning. There's always an awesome band, speaker and team leaders brought in from around the state. Students stay in host homes around our community with their team leaders. There are over 200 students at DNOW and we pray it keeps growing and growing!
